The CDCRI student council is the representative body of all the students at the CDCRI. It has been formed to bridge the gap between the students, staff and the management. It also helps students develop organization and leadership skills along with a sense of responsibility towards their colleagues and the institution.The college provides the necessary support to the council to organize and participate in various academic and extracurricular activities organized throughout the year. This is accomplished by various subcommittee representations within the council.

• Council brings forward the views and suggestions of the entire class related to academics and help organize and encourage participation in various educational programs organized.
• Actively coordinate organizing cultural activities like Annual function, annual sports, annual fete, Ganesh festival, New Year Celebration and show active participation in various day celebration and other programs.
• Help maintain environment of peace and discipline in the campus
• Coordinate in communicating information between staff and students
