The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is well equipped with the major operating theatre which includes ECG monitoring system, Pulse Oximeter, Electro cautery, advanced anaesthetic system to mange cases in general anaesthesia. Department also has a minor operation theatre to handle cases under local anaesthesia, a six bedded recovery room and a full fledged exodontias clinic.

Major Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for treatment of trauma,congenital developmental, acquired diseases, cosmetic surgeries including orthognathic surgeries are done by qualified and expert team of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, aneasthetists, other doctors and paramedical staff. Special emphasis is laid in training the students clinically, especially in pre and postoperative management, handling of emergencies etc.

The department is all set with major operation theatre, separate male and female wards, etc. to start the post graduation courses in the coming academic session.
