University, by staff and students, whether it is conducted to the highest level of ethical standards and in accordance with current legislation and policy requirements.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        The IEC protect the dignity, rights, safety and well-being of research participants; the safety and reputation of researchers; the reputation of college &#038; the University. It ensures that researches carried out in connection with the University are lawful; it also manages and mitigates the risks arising from research; and ensures ethical awareness is embedded across all faculties &#038; students.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        All the research proposals whether involving human subjects or not has been reviewed by IEC before its conduction, and IEC also have a continuing responsibility to regularly monitor the approved research to ensure ethical compliance during the conduct of research.\n    <\/p>\n    <p>\nThe investigators are advised to submit the research proposal in a prescribed Performa as mentioned in Standard Operating Protocol. \n    <\/p>\n    <p>\nThe Institutional Ethical Committee conduct timely critical appraisal of synopsis submitted to it.
